Join us for the Early Bird Cafe which will be open before
every Bouncing Baby and Preschool Storytime session!
Drop in and meet us before the session to socialize
with new friends and neighbors and have a chance
to talk to Mrs. Shaia. Light refreshments will be served.
Don't forget to check out some books either before
or after storytime. Mrs. Shaia is always happy to
help with suggestions of her latest favorites.

Bring your kids out to White Memorial for programs designed to
awaken curiosity and foster an appreciation for the natural world.
Every session brings a new adventure, whether it's
exploring a new part of White Memorial property,
meeting a live animal, or taking part in an outdoor activity.
Join us for an afternoon of experiential learning in the outdoors.
Parents/Guardians are welcome to stay,
but it is not necessary.
Meet in the A.B. Ceder Room. 3:45-5pm.

Sacred Chant Workshop for Women

Tuesday evenings beginning September 12
St. Michael’s Parish, Litchfield
Dr. Marguerite Mullée will be offering a five week workshop
 in singing Chant on Tuesday evenings 7:00 – 8:30 p.m.
 beginning September 12 at St. Michael’s Parish,
25 South Street, just off the Litchfield green.
For the last session, October 10, the group will present a
Candlelight Chanted Compline including chants and motets
 from Anglican, Roman and Orthodox traditions.
Dr. Mullée is Music Director at St. Michael’s
and a specialist in Chant and vocal pedagogy.  
Chant is truly the music of the people and this workshop
 will explore the wonderful diversity of chant.
Topics include vocal technique focusing
on breath support and legato singing,
reading Gregorian notation, different forms of psalmody,
and an historic overview of chant in the Christian Church.
The fee is $95 and includes all materials.
